Yeah.
Since I'm really horrible when it comes to backgrounds and landscapes I decided to practice a little, Improve and try new techniques.

And then I took my time to put in Dashie to distract you from the really horrrible tree to the right and my halfhearted smaller forests or something.

I dont know anymore.
Hope someone likes it. :<

This piece is amazing- your attention to detail is superb, especially on Dashie's mane. the background and landscape is strikingly beautiful, and the whole piece has been composed extremely well. The tree on the right isn't that bad, but I think it's a bit too prominent- the main subject is Dashie, after all. A few things to improve would be the river: some reflections/ripples would add the serenity of water, and to emphasize the sun. Also, the transition between the grass and the mountains is too straight, making it look unnatural. Shading the ground over there to create a gradient would work, because the light that would be reaching there is blocked by the mountains. The sky is dramatic and has a very realistic feel to it. Good job, keep on focusing on backgrounds and landscapes and you'll be perfect in no time ^.^

This piece of work is fantastic by the way. You can really see that you worked to improve yourself. Keep up the great work, and you will eventually reach levels you never thought you'd ever reach. :) :sun:
